Raising £1000 with UCL Charity

This week we were invited to ‘Bring the Noise’ at the local UCL Academy student’s party, and it was truly fulfilling. Here are some images of our time starting the party.

UCL Organisation raised in excess of £1000 for the young homeless of London through ticket sales, and we are honoured to have been able to support this cause AND engage with local young dance enthusiasts.

Find out more about UCL’s work right here.

Our involvement with The Big Dance – Thanks, Sadiq!

The Big Dance is a nationwide celebration of dance, led by the Mayor of London in partnership with People Dancing, and is in it’s 10th year. All across the country this summer different professional organisations, community groups and everything in between are engaging in different activities, and here at B-Better we have quite a unique involvement!

Tinman on Tour!

Company director, Damien, is touring with the Big Dance Bus company all summer and there are 22 dates on the schedule! Their performance piece, ‘Dance through the Decades’, showcases a number of dance styles to an uplifting and iconic soundtrack.

In other news, Tinman (Damien) had the opportunity to discuss the finer points of Hiphop dance with London’s new Mayor, Sadiq Khan, at the recent Bus stop in Trafalgar Square! The Patron’s Lunch was a large event to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday and we were honoured to be part of the occasion 🙂
