Welcome to our ‘People Power’ Taster Day
After 4 years, we reopen our doors to the public and invite you to join us for an evening of free classes – People Power Taster Day. With new faces and fresh energy, we’re ready to welcome you back
So what’s happening?
We’ll be running three 40-minute classes which include:
- Youth HipHop (6-11 years) with Cassidy
- Teen / Adult HipHop with Damien
- Breaking (or ‘Breakdance’) with Kofi
These classes will be a general introduction to the styles but also a chance to meet the teachers and possibly some other members of the team too! As ever, our classes are a party, and no experience is necessary.
Where, When, How?
These sessions will be held at Clean Break Studio, 2 Patshull Road, NW5 2LB on April 21st.
Youth HipHop starts at 6pm, Teen / Adult HipHop kicks off at 6.40pm and Breaking, for all ages, runs from 7.20pm
Attendance is strictly limited to 15 people in each class and must be booked by emailing classes@b-better.org.uk. Once a class is full, there will be waiting list only after that.
What happens after Taster Day?
Shortly after Taster Day we will be launching our new dance courses. Taster Day attendees will have first option on booking our courses AND their feedback will utilised to craft the classes in the People Power vision.
What is ‘People Power’?
‘People Power’ is our term for when the public campaign for something and collectively achieve the desired result. To champion this, we simply:
- Created a short survey about dance classes
- Shared it as widely as possible
- Are taking action on the results
And we’re not done yet. The survey is actually still open!
